This photo has an interesting sense of symmetry due to her arms and legs and the fabric hanging over the bed. The pose is strange, as well-- I find that if I look at it long enough the subject starts to seem like she has more than the usual amount of limbs, which is quite a cool effect.
I like how candid this photo seems, but at the same time the color scheme is a bit rough on the eyes. The lighting seems harsh, and the contrast between the even sepia tone and the darker places isn't as strong as it would have been with just grays. There are some small elements in the background which seem to take away from the portrait by drawing attention away from the subject.
Still, quite nice. I like how shadowy this seems and how hard her expression is to read.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. Greatly appreciated. I'll take into concideration of what you said about the lighting and whatnot. Thanks again. I do have a question. I sent this photo and my B&W of the same girl to a friend and she LOVED them. Now she wants me to shoot her in similar ways. What are some ideas and tips I could use so I can get some great shots out of it? Keep in mind, when I took these photosm they weren't planned. You were right it was candid. So how might i get the same effect for a planned shoot with another girl? Thanks again.
the symmetry of her body vs. the asymmetry of her face of this piece is beautiful. she's so wonderfully compacted [fits nicely into bowls]... even the light works in favor of this piece.

I am a peripheral visionary. I can see into the future, just kinda off to the side.
